Red Cross is an International Voluntary Organization functioning independently with the sole aim of rendering humanitarian services to the poor & needy and especially to the most vulnerable sections of the Community without discrimination of the colour, creed, religion, region of the beneficiaries. For meeting expenses, it accepts donations in cash and in kinds from the Philanthropists - Institutions & Individuals.

Donations to Red Cross Organization is exempted from income-tax upto the extend of 50%. Membership subscription is the another source of income for the organization. Those who wish to join this noble organization may contact :

We need your support for :

1.  a)  Helping disabled persons for supply of artificial limbs costing Rs. 16,000/-
          for below - knee limb and Rs. 45,000/- for above -knee limb -per patient.
     b)  ARM(upper limb) above knee Rs. 45,000/-, below knee Rs. 35,000/-.

          All kinds of artificial limbs are prepared at Red Cross Ortho Centre using           Otto Bock German Technology, which give full functioning.

2.  For Thalassemia screening of college students before their marriage to prevent      Thalassemia Major :

      a)  By adopting one student for screening costing Rs. 200/- (Total about 4  
           lacs students to be screened in Gujarat by 2005 end)

OR

      b)  Contributing towards purchase of required machines / equipments.

            i)  Rs.- 5.3 lacs for two Cell Counter Machines
            ii)  Rs. 18 lacs for VARIANT Machines.

3.  For medicines to be used in the Mobile Dispensary which is providing free
     medical aid to poor people in the slum areas - Daily, above 100 patients are
     checked and treatment given - Medicines Costing above Rs. 2000/- per
     month required.
