Physiotherapy and Cerebral Palsy Centre

History & Achievements :

Indian Red Cross Society, Gujarat State branch runs various humanitarian programme. Physiotherapy centre – The founder secretary Dr. V. K. Vani, estabilished this centre in 1971, Shri B. A. Mehta Charitable Trust, Bombay had given donation for physiotherapy centre. At that time instruments available were Short wave diathermy, paraffin wax bath, Intermittent lumber cum cervical traction, infra red rays, electrical stimulation and all exercise instrument.
              But , after the earth quake in 2001 , Physiotherapy centre is updated with all the required machineries & equipped with all the modern facilities imported from Enraff Holland, headed by qualified physiotherapist. Physiotherapy centre has the capacity to meet the impending needs of various assistive devices which are in very much demand. Patients from various part of the Gujarat come to the centre for availing the facilities. Treatment are given at very affordable charge at the centre. Our aim is to provide intelligent diagnosis based after case in consonance with tertiary care measures for all, young & old. We strives towards a complete recovery of normal function, no matter how bad the injury & intervention may be. We want to develop the good cause of providing low cost high quality care for handicap following a misfortune of accident.

Cerebral Palsy Centre

This is the  specialized facilities for the children with cerebral palsy.

We are providing best physical therapeutic services with modern imported instruments at very nominal rates.

We are providing nutritious food to cerebral palsy children.

Since 2009 our 40 children are going to normal school, those who affected from cerebral palsy.

  • In C.P. Unit we organise camp for c.p children like , orthopaedic check-up, E.N.T check up, Thalassemia check up , paediatrician check up done free of cost at regular interval.
  • We also organise picnic, different competition for these children.
  • We celebrate every festivals like Uttarayan, Holi, Rakshabandhan, Independence day, Navratri, Diwali, children’s day,Christmas, New year celebration etc,and give them gifts according the festivals.
  • We also celebrate every child’s birthday.
